Ecodan / PUZ-WZ: exact models and combinations
The UK technical sheet describes PUZ-WZ85VAA and PUZ-WZ85YAA. It is a technical example, rather than confirmation of Slovak stock or a particular indoor pairing.
The hot-water pairing in the UK sheet's note does not establish the same pairing for all heating tests.
Winter output and seasonal efficiency
The winter example is from the UK April 2025 V2 sheet: normal heating at outdoor air −7 °C dry bulb/−8 °C wet bulb and leaving/entering water 35/30 °C. The MCS SCOP does not state a climate; we do not treat it as confirmed average-climate SCOP.

Noise, refrigerant and installation
The UK sound-power test uses a different point from winter output: air 7/6 °C and water 55/47 °C, BS EN12102. It is not a Slovak acoustic assessment or evidence for the exact current local combination.
The exact manual must define placement, service clearances, any protective area, condensate and frost strategy. Nominal thermal output does not specify the electrical breaker or cable size.
Unit price or a complete system?
We do not have a documented current complete Slovak price for this exact system with comparable scope. A missing price is not treated as zero. Request equipment, indoor module, cylinder, accessories, labour, electricity, foundation, commissioning, VAT and all exclusions.
What the warranty evidence establishes
CS-MTRADE conditions for the relevant Slovak supply channel describe two-year component cover, with staged extensions after registration and annual service up to five years. The distributor supplies the part; the installation company fits it at its own cost. This is not a universal manufacturer promise covering five years of labour and travel.
Confirm in writing
- Generation, full model codes, electrical variant and manual.
- Output and COP at the same winter and water temperatures; SCOP with climate.
- Which parts, compressor, labour and travel costs are covered.
- Registration, paid inspections, exclusions and responsible service provider.
- Installation scope, total including VAT and exact supported-equipment registration.
Common questions
Which Ecodan / PUZ-WZ figures can be directly compared?
Only the same quantity at the same temperatures, load, climate and measurement boundary. Another generation or indoor pairing does not automatically share the result.
What does the Mitsubishi Electric warranty include?
The written scope and its conditions determine cover. Compressor or materials cover is not automatically a complete system warranty including labour.
Is the unit price the whole budget?
Only if the scope says so. Connections, cylinder, electrical work, foundation and other work may be separate.
