Heat pump installers: how to choose a company

Checked

Compare experience with your heat-pump type, service coverage and the complete installation scope. The installation price alone is not enough.

Where to find an installer

Our own company directory is not published yet

We are checking company information and its permitted publication. Until then, use official sources and manufacturer contacts.

Open SIEA's installer list

This is a contact source, rather than our endorsement or confirmation of every qualification. Check the current supplier-choice rules for Zelená domácnostiam II.

Verify identity, qualifications and service

Compare the legal name and company ID on the quotation, contract and invoice. Company registration alone does not establish installation quality.

  • Ask for examples with the same equipment type and similar heating.
  • Verify qualifications for the electrical and refrigerant work the company will perform.
  • Confirm manufacturer authorisation if claimed.
  • Identify the party responsible for commissioning and warranty conditions.
  • Obtain service contact details, coverage, travel prices and the fault procedure.

Trade competence, manufacturer training and subsidy-list membership are different checks. Verify each for the same legal entity rather than a logo or trading name.

Area, heat-pump types and brands

A registered address does not establish where technicians travel. Confirm installation and later service at your address, including travel supplements. Ask whether the company actually handles air-to-water, air-to-air or ground systems.

A list of brands on a website does not necessarily establish authorisation for installation or warranty service for every listed brand.

Compare the same scope

Send several companies the same requirements. Check sizing, pipework, electrical supply, foundation, commissioning, VAT and exclusions. Use the quotation checklist and dated price examples.

Evidence and paid placement

Future company records will state the source and check date for important information. We will not label a missing qualification as verified or treat an office address as confirmed service coverage.

There are currently no active paid company placements. Any future paid position must be visibly labelled and must not hide free basic records. See our funding rules.

Always confirm availability and service directly with the company.

Common questions

Does the SIEA list confirm F-gas qualification?

No. It does not replace checking the qualifications needed for the specific work. Ask the company for the relevant certificate and check its validity, scope and legal entity.

Does a company work outside its registered address?

It may, but the registered address does not establish that. Ask separately about installation, service and travel costs in your municipality.

Does payment affect the order or availability of companies?

We have no active paid placements. If we introduce them, we will label them next to the record and explain the order. Basic information about other companies will remain available.
